Additional Certified copy of your Marriage Certificate $17 (own check) or $25 (cash/card) + Notary Public $15. Order an EXTRA Certified Copy of your Marriage Certificate for proof of marriage required for Immigration Benefits, Social Security Benefits, Healthcare benefits, Paternity Child Benefits, Marriage Tax benefits, Military Spousal Benefits, Legal Name Change & Mortgage Loans and etc. Bring a check for $17 payable to the “Registrar Recorder/ County Clerk”. This “certified copy” of your marriage license comes from the L.A. County Clerk approximately within 6-10 weeks after the ceremony.
